2. Construction Details

a) Clamp Body (Green Block)

• Made of Polypropylene (PP) / Polyamide (Nylon) / Rubber-lined
• Split into two halves to enclose the pipe
• Provides:
• Shock absorption
• Noise reduction
• Corrosion protection

b) Top Plate

• Mild Steel / Stainless Steel
• Tightened using hex bolts
• Applies compressive force to hold the pipe

c) Bottom Plate / Base Plate

• Mounted on a structure (frame/channel)
• May be welded or bolted
• Ensures stable anchoring

d) Fasteners (Bolts & Nuts)

• Usually zinc-plated or SS
• Provide adjustable tightening force

3. Working Principle

• Pipe is placed inside the semi-circular groove of the clamp block
• Top half + plate are placed above
• Bolts are tightened → creates uniform clamping pressure
• The plastic/rubber insert:
• Distributes load evenly
• Dampens vibration and shock
